JUNE 14, 1PM WORKSHOP

We had a nice turnout on Friday. Lots of lovely cards were created and we had some first time visitors too.

This is the email from Debbie for our next project on June 14 at 1PM:
When you send out the email about the next project -  here's what everyone needs to bring:
A couple pieces of colored cardstock,  then at least 5 (can be more) coordinating pieces of designer paper…
The designer paper pieces don’t have to be big -  just need to be at least 1”x7” each.  And
of course some white cardstock.   Embellishments like ribbon and buttons or bling can be
added too. And of course the standard - scissors, tape runner, glue, cutter etc

I will bring graph paper for everyone,  my Big Shot and Quilty embossing folders, and some
Greeting stamps….. If they want the ink on greeting to match their cardstock they need to bring their
Stamp pad --- I’ll bring a black stamp pad.

Thanks
Debbie

APRIL 26 AT 3:30

Thank you Mary Ann and Kathy for two fun projects.

Why is this post in pink? Read on and find out what our April 26 special project will be:

This meeting will be an opportunity to give back and bless  others  with our talent.  Girls Love Mail is an organization that partners with cancer treatment centers nationwide to distribute cards and letters to women who are newly diagnosed with breast  cancer. The purpose of these
cards is to  encourage and reassure these cancer warriors that they are being thought about, prayed for, etc. each card should have a small handwritten note inside. Don’t worry about what to say, I will bring examples.  You are free to bring whatever stamps, paper, dies etc to create something  amazing for someone else. These are sent to the organization by me  in one  big envelope so no individual envelopes are needed. Feel free to go to the Girls Love Mail website and be sure to read what these women are saying about how much it meant to them to get a card . You don’t need to be a cancer survivor to help with this project.
Supplies needed:
The usual, tape scissors etc
Whatever you want to bring and /or share to make cards
Pens to write a note on the inside of your card
