MARCH 13 WORKSHOP NEWS

Bev presented two fun cards at our last workshop and it looks like everyone enjoyed the designs. Thank you Bev.

FEBRUARY 28 WORKSHOP AT 3:30

Our next workshop is being presented by Bev. There are two fun cards. Don't forget $1.00 for this session. Also bring your regular supply kit.

Card base 4x5 1/2" Solid color 3 x 5 1/2" Print/designed 2 x 5 1/2" Pinwheel - double sided paper 4 x 4" Brad or button for center Also solid color cardstock for middle Garden fence card leaves,flowers centers Marker - your choice of color I will have the sentiment "Have a Blooming Birthday" In your choice  brown & black (print on computer) Inside sentiment A bouquet of birthday wishes just got you (Also choice of brown or black) I will bring what I have in punched for flowers, leaves, buttons, etc Please bring what pleases you to put on your card in case you don't like my choices! TWO NEWS ITEMS

 I want to thank Renee for her fabulous workshop. We were very well attended and learned new things. We had several new visitors.

The VFW sale of supplies, just north of the Marion Market on 441, will be Saturday the 22nd, from 9AM to noon.

On March 13 there will not be a regular workshop. We are car pooling and going to Violets. Kathy needs to have a count of those who plan to attend. Please let her know ASAP for reservations. There will be a make and take. For details text Kathy at  352-552-3315.

SALE

There is a sale of stamping and card crafting supplies on Saturday, February 15, at Laurel Manor, in the afternoon. Check the paper for details.

Thank you Peggy for the fun pet sympathy workshop. We had a good turnout. It was purrfect.

Our next workshop is presented by Renee. There will be a $1 supply cost, along with our usual $1. That is $2 for this workshop.
There will be three items to make. All look like a lot of fun.

     I'LL BRING THE GLOSSY PAPER  3 1/2" X 4 1/2" ,  &  WATER BASE MARKERS.   (bring if you have any)

           SQUARE FLAP ENVELOPE     --- EMBOSSED & INKED     &/or  ENVELOPE LINER    combine both or just use one method

JANUARY 24 WORKSHOP AT 3:30

Thank you Kathy for the Valentine's demo. Everyone enjoyed the process of embossing and use of vellum and the techniques.

Peggy is presenting the next workshop. It will be Pet Sympathy cards. The cat and dog silhouette punches will be already cut out for you in different colors.

All you need to bring is your usual supply kit [listed on this blog] and cardstock. Bring any printed papers and embellishments you might want to use. Bring whatever stamps and ink you want to use. Some stamps and ink will be provided for those who are beginners and first time people.

One dollar will be collected for this workshop, in exact denomination please.

The photos are just for inspiration. We may not be making these exact cards.

JANUARY 10, 2020 WORKSHOP - 1PM

Our first workshop of the new year is being presented by Kathy.
She will be providing the vellum for $1. There is also the regular collection of $1. This will be $2 for this workshop. Please come with exact bills. Thank you.

Please bring supplies:
(2) 81/2 x11 sheets of white card stock
Scrap red paper
Adhesive
White sharpie pen - yellow or deep pink will do
Kathy will bring:
Flower die cuts
Vellum paper
Magnolia stamp
Black embossing powder
Heat gun
Brads
Hole punch
Silver paper scraps. 

If you have anything Kathy is bringing, feel free to bring that as well. It will speed up the process.
